NEW YORK CITY & WAGNER COLLEGE

HOMEGROWN PARTNERSHIPS

A guy from Brooklyn and another from Queens cross the Verrazzano to make their mark in Staten Island, heres a glimpse of Daybreake’s emerging story at Wagner College. Best friends Thomas Remmen & Jack Ryan from Bay Ridge and Breezy Point began the Daybreake Clothing Company together in March 2024 while being fulltime college students. The company has grown significantly since, with a 2026 spike stemming from their entrance into the Greek apparel market through their newly found Affinity Licensing partnership.

The collegiate world of apparel business began for the boys at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, where Remmen graduated in 2025. Through internal connections at the University they began producing items for teams, clubs & the business school itself which sprung the idea to make fraternal clothing as well. After landing deals with partner sororities there, they looked outwards to other Northeast Universities. Wagner College was a clear target choice. Throughout the Spring and further talking with girls they knew and referrals from established partnerships, Wagner launched to the top as their second biggest school. Daybreake produced custom matching sweat sets for Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Delta Pi, & Alpha Omicron Pi. On April 14th, 2026, the company hosted a photoshoot to show off all of the sororities new apparel with girls from the organizations.
