About Daybreake
Daybreake started in March 2024 out of Sacred Heart University, founded by two college students from Brooklyn and Queens. Since then we've shipped to 30+ states, partnered with student organizations at 50+ universities, and worked with influencers nationwide. In 2025 we launched DBKE Originals — our custom apparel arm for sororities and fraternities, universities, small businesses, charities, and sports clubs — and we're officially licensed for 17 national sororities.
Go see what we're building: @daybreake_ for the retail brand and @dbkeoriginals for custom and Greek work, both on Instagram and TikTok. You'll be making content that lives on those accounts, so look before you apply.
Fifteen interns have come through since 2025. The ones who got the most out of it treated it like their own brand.
What you'll actually do
Pick a primary lane. Everyone touches all three.
Content & Social
- Plan, shoot, and edit for Instagram and TikTok across both accounts — you'll own a posting calendar, not just make one-off assets
- Turn real orders into content: bid day reveals, chapter deliveries, work week sets
- Run trend research and tell us what to chase — and what to skip
- Coordinate with student ambassadors and campus reps on campaigns
Design
- Build mockups for chapter orders in Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva
- Develop original graphics for retail drops and Greek collections
- Help shape the catalog: colorways, layouts, product pages
- Work inside licensing rules on real approved designs — a skill almost nobody your age has
Sales & Chapter Outreach
- Pitch sorority chapters — you'll be talking to merchandise chairs, presidents, and social chairs at schools across the country
- Own outreach end to end: find the chapter, find the right person, send the message, follow up
- Run our brand ambassador program — recruit members, brief them, keep them active
- Work our busiest windows on purpose: January officer transitions, bid day, formal season
- Follow up on inbound leads from our website and turn them into mockup requests
- Learn to sell something custom, where the pitch is the relationship, not a price sheet
Being in a sorority or fraternity is a real advantage in this lane. You already know how chapter merch decisions actually get made, and that's most of the job.
